Spice Islands Coastal is a division of Spice Islands Wicker, a U.S.-based importer and wholesaler with over 30 years of experience sourcing natural products from around the world.
 

Built on that foundation, Spice Islands Coastal was created to expand our product line into seashells, coastal décor, and marine-inspired craft materials—bringing the same established supply chain, global sourcing relationships, and quality standards our customers have relied on for decades.

Our story began in 1988 with the founding of SpiceIslandsWicker in Southern Maryland. For many years, we focused on importing and wholesaling wicker furniture and natural home décor, building long-standing relationships with suppliers and customers across the United States. The business has remained under the same ownership—Donald and Maureen Walker—since day one.

As the market evolved, so did we. Drawing on our experience in sourcing wicker furniture from Indonesia (www.spiceislandswicker.com) and working with retailers, we expanded into seashells, coastal décor, shell art, unique frames and craft supplies, leading to the creation of this site, Spice Islands Coastal.

Today, we supply a wide range of customers—from retail stores to independent artists and small businesses—who rely on us for consistent quality, dependable service, and carefully selected products suited for resale and creative use.

We are not a mass-market supplier. We are a hands-on, family-run business built over decades, focused on long-term relationships and practical, sellable products.
